I seem to see the legs of three different spiders sticking out in various places.

for the ID, Charley. I have yet to get a photo of Trypoxylon politum. I'll have to keep an eye out this summer. Will this year's generation reuse the same nest?

 
No
But they often make new nests nearby... and other wasps (including smaller Trypoxylon spp.) may reuse these nests.
