Scolytinae - Scolytus multistriatus

Scolytinae - Scolytus multistriatus
Lenexa, Johnson County, Kansas, USA
September 8, 2013
Came to a MVL in a woodland/remnant tallgrass prairie area. This is the only image I have of it. I thought the scutellum was different, but didn't have much luck finding a similar image, except for the Large Shothole Borer...but the body shape did not match.
