Svastra perhaps- Calhoun County - Colletes ultravalidus

Svastra perhaps- Calhoun County - Colletes ultravalidus
Blountstown, Fl in the Panhandle, Calhoun County, Florida, USA
March 1, 2014
Size: ca. 1 cm
About 15 of these swarming around and nectaring on Prunus caroliniana (Laurel Cherry). Fast flying, hard to see in air. Can you get this to species? I counted antenna segments (hard to do in this photo) but I think I got 13 (male).

Colletes Calhoun County
John, for some reason I am having trouble loading up additional images of those Colletes. And wow! The pictures at that link certainly superficially look like the ones I'm seeing. And, I will continue to try to load up some more images. I've put in a query to the Forum on why I'm not able to add additional image.

Calhoun County Colletes
I guess I'm going to go with C. thoracicus based on what I think is a very unscientific notion... the abdomen h
stripes are the least bold of the 12 or so Colletes I checked.

However there is a new species from the Panhandle

Would help to see another angle even if not a great photo especially if it shows the head

Svastra perhaps but is Colletes
Thanks so much John. Do I need a different photo aspect to get this to species. I'm looking at C. inequalis and C. thoracicus.
