Size: .25 inch
On black walnut tree, tended by ants. I saw them there for a couple of weeks and could not find any later.

Enchenopa
This is an undescribed species of treehopper that feeds only on walnut.

This is a nymph of a species of Enchenopa
Dr Hamilton has made some comments on it here - . Let's hope he gives us more information now that you have added your image.
