minute translucent springtails - Proisotoma
Nashua, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, USA
Size: about 0.5 mm
I found these tiny isotomids in a rearing container along with a plenitude of hypog*astrurids. Both are seen in this image:

Most probably juvenile 1st instars.
