the peculiar pronotal margin, antennal coloration, and glossy dorsum, etc. all match

Dr Shawn Clark also confirms the ID and says, "neat species" (he has, like, millions of nearctic chrysomelids in his collection, and is not easily moved)
see the info page -- this bugs seems to be quite to very rare over most of its range
