Omus californicus angustocylindricus (W. Horn) - Omus californicus - male

Omus californicus angustocylindricus (W. Horn) - Omus californicus - Male
Lassen County, California, USA
Size: 13.5 mm
This specimen was collected by F. W. Nunenmacher, and as is the case with most of his material locality information on the label is wanting. I suspect this came from the area around Westwood, Lassen Co., CA. Mont Cazier reviewed the specimen and identified it as O. c. angustocylindricus in 1942.

The brown coloration is due to age.
