parasitoid - Female

This parasitoid was found nectaring on a strawberry flower (Fragaria x ananassa var. Albion) on an organic strawberry farm.

Moved
Dr. Gavin Broad, who works on Orthocentrinae, says this is almost certainly Stenomacrus.

Moved from ID Request.

Possibly
Possibly Orthocentrinae. The view of the forewing seems atypical of any of the genera illustrated in the Townes volume covering Orthocentrine Ichneumonidae, but perhaps this is because the wing has been crumpled too much. The body form does seem orthocentrine, but I don't know if their might be braconids that look like this. A better background might help to improve photo clarity.
