Givira arbeloides

Givira arbeloides
Mission area, Hidalgo County, Texas, USA
October 19, 2006
Size: 27 mm
Attracted to a lighted sheet. Wingspan about 27 mm (wing chord 12 mm). Identified by one of the trip leaders (Charles Bordelon) as Givira arbeloides. There is not a lot of information available about this genus that I can find.

This photograph was taken during a field trip as part of the 2006 Texas Butterfly Festival in Mission, Texas.

Nice Find!
You certainly got some nice and scarce photos on that trip.
