Habronattus virgulatus or mexicanus? - Habronattus clypeatus - Male
San Pedro River Valley, SE of San Manuel, Pinal County, Arizona, USA
April 1, 2014
Size: 6mm body
I thought this was a Jumping Spider (Habronattus virgulatus) as it's similar to one I found about 20 miles from here a year ago, but I noticed it appears to have some other similarities with H. mexicanus also. Any thoughts? Thank you for all of your help!

I agree
it does appear very similar to H. clypeatus. Sorry, I think the other photo with this one is the closest I have to the front of the face and eye pattern. There's a chance I might see the same spider tomorrow - he disappeared before I got all of the photos I wanted. Thank you so much for all of your help.

H. clypeatus I think
Do you have pics of the face? It looks like Habronattus clypeatus to me.
