Thanks for the ID and the species possibility! The plant is certainly right for
P. layiae
, and I haven't seen a
Perdita
that looks like this before. I'll see if I can spot any more and collect a specimen. I'll also check for
Perdita
on the
Layia hieracioides
at the field station.
