Spider - Steatoda triangulosa

Spider - Steatoda triangulosa
South Jordan, Salt Lake County, Utah, USA
July 24, 2013
Size: Body is 6mm long
I found a couple of these in my garage. Their web is scant, haphazard and felt a lot like a Black Widow's web. The spider curls up in a ball when disturbed if there is not exit. Otherwise, they withdraw into the corner when disturbed.
The one in the photographs is actually the mature offspring of the one I caught last summer. I am very curious what kind of spider this is.

Thanks
It is exciting for me to be able to put a name to this spider.
