thinking Cx. quinquefasciatus but the spots on the femur and tibia are all wrong. So we should just wait for Sean to check it out

Most definitely a good
sized girl. Mosquitoes' different sizes all determined from the availability of nutrients throughout their larval life cycle. Most mosquito larvae don't have the perfect availability of nutrients, but every once in a while you will find a pretty well fed colony producing relatively massive mosquitoes
