Masked Hunter Assassin Bug - Reduvius personatus

Masked Hunter Assassin Bug - Reduvius personatus

I think this is Reduvius personatus (Reduviidae) eating a lacewing on the wall of our house. Common during June and July around here, they sometimes enter homes and can inflict a painful bite if handled. Another photo here.
The ITIS site lists this as "Redivius" personatus - a misspelling?

I concur.
Reduvius is easily confused with male Melanolestes, but the latter genus has little "ankle weights," swellings on the fore- and mid-tibia, that are absent in Reduvius. Nice shot. We still need an image of an adult for our field guide (hint, hint everyone:-)
