Moth Walking on Snow - Frenesia missa

Moth Walking on Snow - Frenesia missa
Minden, Haliburton, Ontario, Canada
December 18, 2006
Size: 1.5 cm
I found this delicate little moth walking on the snow in the deep woods of central Ontario. Does anyone know its name?

Moved
Moved from Caddisflies.

Winter caddis
It's hard to tell from the lack of resolution, but given the tiny head, the wing profile, the overall length and that fact that few caddisflies can survive through the winter, this is Frenesia missa, family Limnephilidae

Moth walking on snow.
Thanks for the specifics.

The shape
The shape looks a lot more like a Caddisflie to me.

Thanks, for identifying this, Jonathan.
