Hogna carolinensis Pedipalp - Hogna carolinensis - male

Hogna carolinensis Pedipalp - Hogna carolinensis - Male
Topeka, Shawnee County, Kansas, USA
April 11, 2014
Size: Spider BL About 21mm
I am not sure whether these are needed for the guide. I basically just took these photos because I had access to a dissecting scope. Also, I had a brain fart and forgot to take better pictures of the spider itself (can do that later). All I have is a blurry photo of it. If they are not needed, I will go ahead and frass them. These photos show the pedipalp of a male Hogna carolinensis that had died of old age.

This is his left-side palp, isn't it? Do you wonder how I know this, hmm? Thanks for posting him!
