Spider - Agelenopsis
Near Karr Creek at Highway 68, East Feliciana Parish, Louisiana, USA

Size: unknown
We believe this is a Funnel Web Spider, possibly in the genus Agelenopsis. It appears similar to this photo.
Found in weedy undergrowth, about 60 cm. above ground, near trail through dense woods. Resting at opening to funnel.

Yes
that or Barronopsis, which this does not appear to be.
