Throscidae: Trizagus sp.
Medford, (~15 miles east of Philadelphia, PA) Burlington County, New Jersey, USA
July 11, 2006
Size: ~2.4mm
Throscidae - a new family for me. Trixagus has clubbed antenna and eyes with deep transverse impression (although very difficult for me to make out at this size). Downie and Arnett list 2 Trixagus - this is probably T. carinicollis, given fringe of setae on elytra oriented aft.
