Ladybird beetle - Hippodamia convergens

Ladybird beetle - Hippodamia convergens
Cross Plains, Dane County, Wisconsin, USA
June 6, 2006
Still going through old photos since the prospect of finding any new insects outdoors at this time of the year are pretty slim. Came across this photo of a ladybird beetle I took in late spring and finally noticed that it looks different from the others. Based on the other photos in the guide, I think this is a Hippodamia convergens.
