Echo Azure (Celastrina echo)? - Celastrina echo - female

Echo Azure (Celastrina echo)? - Celastrina echo - Female
Snohomish, Snohomish County, Washington, USA
April 25, 2014
Size: Roughly 1 in. wing span.
These little guys appear to be leaving caterpillars on my Spirea betulifolia (I am assuming that they are theirs at least). I have seen similar butterflies to this one on line but some have tails and Little Blues don't seem to have the spotting around the base of the hind wing and the thickness of the dark marking on all of the wings.

Celastrina echo is correct; this is a female
The caterpillars don't look like normal caterpillars, but are sort of short and chunky. If you have photos, you can post those here too.
