The date is July 2004
I found this in a Alpine Meadow near Chinook Pass in Washington.
The poor quality is because it is a scanned photo. It looks like the other black tachinids with gold on the wings under this genus...I never posted it because I thought it would be too poor an image, but I can see the orange on the wings and no sign of other colors on the body.
As always, please frass if this doesn't contribute to the guide.
