Bombus ternarius? - Bombus ternarius

Bombus ternarius? - Bombus ternarius
Medford, Taylor County, Wisconsin, USA
May 3, 2014
Size: Close to 1" long
Turned a flower to get better picture of the bee and it crawled onto my finger. Bee was moving slow since it was cold today. Mostly sunny 55 degrees but gusty cold winds. I think it may be a Bombus ternarius as from what I read they are common in northern climates. Thanks for your help.
