Vivid Metallic Ground beetle? - Chlaenius

Vivid Metallic Ground beetle? - Chlaenius
Wichita, Sedgwick County, Kansas, USA
Am I IDing this correctly as a Vivid Metallic Ground Beetle - Chlaenius sericeus? Thanks for your help.

My opinion
would be Chlaenius nemoralis

Thank you...
...I appreciate your help.

Chlaenius yes, sericeus no.
This is a different species in the genus Chlaenius. Did you happen to get a whiff of it?:-)

Thank you...
...for your help. I don't recall this critter putting off a foul odor, but in reading up on Chlaenius, it apparently could have. (Maybe I had a cold that day!) I appreciate your help.
