Texananus nymph - Texananus

Texananus nymph - Texananus
San Pedro River Valley, SE of San Manuel, Pinal County, Arizona, USA
April 14, 2014
Size: ~4mm
This was found on an Engelmann Prickly Pear Cactus (Opuntia engelmannii) flower bud; I understand that the curled up tail is characteristic of Texananus. We have T. excultus and T. subgenus Iowanus frequently in the same place, although that doesn't mean these are the same. Thank you.
