Spiketail Nymph - Cordulegaster
West Point at the Eno Park, Durham County, North Carolina, USA
July 4, 2003
This nymph was found in a stream and identified by odonate expert Josh Rose. He was using it in an educational demonstration when I happened along and he was kind enough to let me photograph it.

I did find one photo on the web of a nymph of this genus from the UK: Golden-ringed dragonfly nymph
