While I did not note any egg-
While I did not note any egg-laying, there were dozens of these all over the boxwood, but not on any of the adjacent plantings.

It seems likely;
In cases I have observed, the
M. flavus
swarmed around boxwood in large numbers following their emergence. Mine emerged on May 18, in Illinois.
