Braconid ex Chirosia ex netted chain fern - Aphaereta - female

Braconid ex Chirosia ex netted chain fern - Aphaereta - Female
North Bridgewater, Plymouth County, Massachusetts, USA
April 6, 2014
Size: 2 mm
Last summer five fly larvae burrowed into a little jar of soil, and this spring 27 of these wasps emerged from it. I haven't yet tried to dig up the puparia, but no flies emerged, so I guess they were all parasitized.
