Did you actually find this ladybug on January 6? Was it indoors? It seems very odd.
Update, 5/6/2010: I removed the date since I never got an answer and it is most probably a mistake.

Indeed, Laboulbeniales fungi (Ascomycota). The species probably is Hesperomyces virescens.
