Saw this species a couple of times in my field. I'm thinking it might be Metcalfa pruinosa?

Derbidae I think
Looks similar to these bluish Cedusa species.

Correct. There are 4 bluish-black species recorded from Quebec: C. hedusa (no, I'm not making this up!), C. incisa, C. obscura and C. vulgaris. There are no biological differences known to help differentiate these species.
