Calendar

Pseudaletia unipuncta or Mythima unipunctata

Which is current???

Mythimna unipuncta (Haworth, 1809)
Is what All-Leps has, so that's what I would use.

Thanks Chuck,
But since you didn't site Nearctica, I went searching on my own. According to other editors our taxonomy follows Nearctica.com for insects and Spiders of North America for spiders. See here.

And according to that site it should be the other choice. Sorry, sometimes I'm just too lazy to look it up.

However, acording to this article you are right.

Yikes, you can see why I'm confused.

All-Leps for Leps
You may have missed this discussion (among others) where All-Leps was chosen as the reference for Lepidoptera.

Nearctica is the over-all default, but in several cases another reference has been chosen for specific groups: American Beetles for beetles, for instance.

Thanks
I'm going to ask Robin to include this in the article since that's where I go to remember where to look these things up.
