Phidippus #1 - Phidippus whitmani
Gloster, Gloster Arboretum, Amite County, Mississippi, USA
July 1, 2006
Size: body length 6 mm.
This specimen was collected by Linda Auld of New Orleans, and kindly loaned to us for photography.
Closest matches we could find were P. whitmani as seen here or possibly P. cardinalis as seen here.
Also comments on gender and stage of development are of interest to us.
