on a milkweed blossom -- Is there a green milkweed bug ?? -- I am amazed how many insects I am finding on the milkweed.

Not Miridae
Nice shot, should be able to ID it with references (which I don't have handy at my workplace). It is most likely in the Rhopalidae or Coreidae.

Definitely a Rhopalid, looks like it belongs to the genus Harmostes.
