Reddish Elongate-bodied Springtail - Isotomurus

Reddish Elongate-bodied Springtail - Isotomurus
Seattle, King County, Washington, USA
January 20, 2007
Size: 2mm
I finally got one...These are fast and tiny, so this is the first shot I've been able to get of one. It was underneath a board in the garden along with many Globular springtails.

Moved
Moved from Isotomidae.

Genus = Isotomurus
Cheryl, given your recent set of Isotomurus pictures, you can put his picture also safely under Isotomurus.

Moved

Isotomurus palustris
probably.
Family = Isotomidae.

Good going!
Nice shot of something that small. I still haven't seen one. There's an ocean-going Laguna marine springtail we may try to pursue.
