Moved
Moved from Caddisflies.

Leptoceridae
one of the Triaenodes species. Female diagnostic characters are more ventral and lateral in this taxa.

Genitalia are now flat -
have I rendered it unidentifiable?

maybe not
if the parts can be sorted out and viewed in a normal position. This image looks like something I would see in a moth article. It may be possible to prepare caddis like this like as well but the vaginal apparatus is used for the females in many groups is not included in this image. See Schmid 1977 & 1998 (Canadian Trichoptera genera) for more typical views and pertinent structures.

Ventral view
added.

sorry
I still cannot find the parts to be sure.
