deer lice?

deer lice?
Warren, Somerset County, New Jersey, USA
June 4, 2014
Hundreds of these on a dead white tailed deer. Very flat, visible legs, no wings. Only found in the hairy areas, not the exposed flesh where the maggots were feeding. same deer as

introduced species?
I'm wondering if this could be Tricholipeurus lipeuroides, a native species of deer lice, or Damalinia forficula, one originally European species that has been labeled as responsible for Hair Loss Syndrome in American deer.
