Moved from Anomaloninae.

Coloration is very similar to that of the specimen I identified as Agrypon rheumapterae, but I can't see the characters needed for even confirming the genus, so I obviously can't confirm the species. Anomaloninae are difficult to identify from specimens, and all the tougher to identify from photos.

Moved from Ichneumon Wasps.

charachters needed
just curious, what are the characters needed?

Aphanistes Couplet in Generic Key
Mesoscutum in lateral profile with a distinct shelf-like cavity above its anterior margin; frons with a median compressed tooth; tarsal claws pectinate to apex; subdiscoideus arising at or below middle of postnervulus. (vein terminology of the Jurinean system).

thanks
again, now I get a good sense of how difficult these are to i.d. from small blurry photos!

Best regards
