Yucca bugs.... - Halticotoma valida
Dallas, Dallas County, Texas, USA
October 3, 2006
These bugs were on my sister's yucca plant in great numbers for months! They only recently disappeared when the temp went to freezing, but I fear thay may come back. They never morphed into anything else over all the months; just grew in size to about the size of the largest in the picture. Any ideas greatly appreciated!

Small member of plant bug family
= Miridae.

The white spots on the leaf are the sucking sites, where the enzymes injected by the bugs have disintegrated the plants tissue.
