Cicindela repanda or C. hirticollis #2 - Cicindela repanda

Cicindela repanda or C. hirticollis #2 - Cicindela repanda
Waterbury, washington County, Vermont, USA
June 1, 2014
I found a few that I am having a hard time differentiating C. repanda from C. hirticollis.
They are probably all C. repanda, but some are obviously longer and thinner and more bronzed and some are wider and more oval and darker.
I will post a seperate entry for the other beetles, as I imagine that is the protocol for different specimens.

This individual is longer and narrower than the one I just previously posted. Also the apical lunule is much different (much more reduced).
