Four days after a light white frost developed over the pale green ground color and yellow to orange warts appeared. The next day the ground color went to various shades of blue to black and the pale frosting turned light blue to solid white. When provided a piece of rotting wood the caterpillar immediately began tunneling out a pupation chamber.
