Poecilognathus looks good, but
Poecilognathus unimaculatus has only been recorded from Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and Mexico, according to the 2003 World Catalog of Bee Flies by world expert Neil Evenhuis.

Poecilognathus species recorded from Minnesota are P. scolopax and P. sulphureus.
