I collected an undetermined moth larva wrapped in an undetermined plant leaf in the woods

In the center of the photo is a moth egg. Because there ended up being several caterpillars in this rearing, I was hesitant to connect the egg hatch/spore eating lep larvae to the adult. But given the adults that emerged, I think this is correct. I have since reared another Lascoria ambigualis from an egg which appears to match this egg.

This is the underside of the rolled leaf, rust aecial cups and spores. There always seems to be fly larvae in with rust spores and this was no exception. In the center of the photo is a fly larva.
