Firefly Mimic? - Pseudomops septentrionalis

Firefly Mimic? - Pseudomops septentrionalis
Baton Rouge, Bluebonnet Swamp Nature Center, East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana, USA
June 14, 2014
I had shot a few fireflies a bit earlier in the day.
Thought this was another when I started shooting.
Then started seeing some things different.
Notice spikes on legs
And the shield does not cover the head.
Colors brighter and higher contrast.

Would it be possible for me to use this photo in a popular science book I'm writing about firefly evolution? I can send you more details if you email me (sara.lewis@tufts.edu). Many thanks!
