This made me think of the black widow but somehow the color is off and the shape is different.

Thank you. The cobweb was correct. The hour glass shape was or appeared separated into two parts but in looking at other picts I see that is not uncommon. The color really made me wonder as other widows I have seen are really black. I wonder if the abdomen swells after eggs are laid.
