another rhagidiid mite

another rhagidiid mite
Nashua, Hillsborough County, New Hampshire, USA
November 24, 2006
Size: about 0.66 mm
Collected from fungus growing on a log. This mite obviously was overcome by heat and dessication in my light arena before I was able to get dorsal views but it is certainly a rhagidiid and appears to be the same species as individuals I collected from two other souces. The "love handles" between the second and third pair of legs plus the length and pattern of setae should make these images further identifiable.

Size figured by dividing pixel count of mite by known pixels in 1mm at 22x zoom.
