I'm fairly certain this is the correct ID, but this is a larger specimen than I've seen before.

It looks like a Lasioglossum
It looks like a Lasioglossum subgenus Dialictus but 12mm would be huge (they're usually half that size). The enlarged tegula are quite distinctive...I would have said L. tegulariforme was a fair guess if it was 5-6mm.

 
Every time I list length, I wonder if I'm right.
This post is not top-of-mind, but I'll try to reconstruct. However, I doubt that even I would be that far off. (Uh huh.)
