Oddball Bug - Ceuthophilus

Size: 3/4 inch
Cross between a cricket and a grasshopper? Never seen one before. Don't know whether it is an adult or not. Not easily startled. Found in the morning on the railing of my deck situated in the Nantahala Forest.
