5 years later as of this writing, these bees are nowhere to be found around here anymore. They were abundant when I originally took these pictures.

I can't remember the last time I saw one.

Has anyone else noticed an overall decline in hymenoptera over the years?

This is Anthidium manicatum a recently (80's) exotic bee from Eurasia. This is likely the first state record.
