John...
may I use this image (with prope credit) in a paper I am preparing on egg guarding in psocids?

Absolutely
I would be honored to have my photo included in your work.

Wow!! Fascinating and a good shot!
Do you know if this female covered over the egg cluster with silk? I'd really like to know. Also, I might, with your permission, want to use one of these photos someday. Please hang on to your original images. Also, would it be possible for you to go back and see if this female appears to be "guarding" the egg cluster?

There is fine a webbing of silk over the eggs
it's hard to see but visible in the high resolution images. I can't recall were she was, I'll try to find her again.

silk covering
The psocid species I have observed (that lay clusters of eggs) usually cover them over with much more silk than I see here. Perhaps you caught this female before she had finished "silking over" the eggs. Inquiring minds want to know.

She seemed to be busy
adding silk as I took the photos. I'll see if I can find her, she's here in my yard somewhere but it's a pretty big yard.
