Dianthidium
-
Off Angeles Crest Highway, ~6500 ft, San Gabriel Mountains, Los Angeles County, California, USA
August 18, 2006
Size: ~8mm
On Machaeranthera canescens.
I wonder whether this is in the tribe Anthidiini, perhaps Dianthidium?

Thanks John,
I thought about a couple of possibilities (ulkei, and parvum -just guesses), but I understand that I'll need an actual specimen for species ID.
