Longhorn Band-Winged Grasshopper - Psinidia fenestralis

Longhorn Band-Winged Grasshopper - Psinidia fenestralis
Hobe Sound, Florida, USA
June 27, 2004
I'm pretty sure this is a nymph of P. fenestralis. It has many of the adult identifying features such as the flattened antennea segments and the yellowish stripe from the eye to the pronotum. Judging from the size of the wing-buds, this is probably one instar from adulthood.

Shot at Jonathan Dickinson State Park.
